The newlyweds’ relatives gathered under the ancient trees to witness the tying of the knot that would bring them together as a single, great family. Before Carley and Adam could take their vows though, there was one welcome surprise awaiting them. With the priest who would witness their union as a messenger, Pope Francis himself has sent the young couple his blessings with his pectoral cross included as a gift and a physical memento of his approval of the blossoming love.
All through the ceremony a great bell has been waiting atop a tall tower to finally be rung by Adam and Carley, now formally a husband and a wife, thus marking the beginning of the celebration.
The reception took place in a great, elegantly decorated hall lined with timbers that perfectly fit the atmosphere of the venue. The newlyweds led the first dance, ready to start a new life that they would share together, forever at the side of one another’s soulmate.
