A session of wedding photography in the nature

Situated in the heart of Hill Country, only a short drive from the center of Austin – Dripping Springs is often dubbed the ”Wedding Capital of Texas”.  Amidst it’s breathtaking landscapes and lush forests sits Camp Lucy – with a rich history of many successful weddings, it boasts four distinct venues, including Sacred Oaks, where friends and families gathered to celebrate the union of love between Carley and Adam.

When she was young, Carley had spent long days dreaming about her future wedding, but instead of going through the myriad little details that young girls usually like to plan, she dreamed of the perfect husband. Years later, her prayers have been answered the day she met Adam.

Adam felt he had found the right person from the very beginning. Not long after they became a couple, he already knew he would eventually ask Carley to be his wife.

Just as surely as they were meant to find each other, eventually the day had to come when they would pronounce their eternal love before God and the people dearest to them.

As it turned out, the young couple needn’t have cared about anything less important than the love their shared – Camp Lucy boasts a full range of premium in-house services. Equipment rentals, catering, florists and accommodation are all provided, in order to take the bulk of the hustle around organizing a wedding off the couple’s shoulders.

Sacred Oaks, named so to honor the enchanting oak thicket surrounding the venue, provides a peaceful and romantic atmosphere for the wedding ceremony. The newlyweds’ relatives gathered under the ancient trees to witness the tying of the knot that would bring them together as a single, great family. Before Carley and Adam could take their vows though, there was one welcome surprise awaiting them. With the priest who would witness their union as a messenger, Pope Francis himself has sent the young couple his blessings with his pectoral cross included as a gift and a physical memento of his approval of the blossoming love.

All through the ceremony a great bell has been waiting atop a tall tower to finally be rung by Adam and Carley, now formally a husband and a wife, thus marking the beginning of the celebration.

The reception took place in a great, elegantly decorated hall lined with timbers that perfectly fit the atmosphere of the venue. The newlyweds led the first dance, ready to start a new life that they would share together, forever at the side of one another’s soulmate.
